Caliu offers a velvety appearance with a hint of nostalgia, showing a subtle movement in light and dark shades in thick and thin strokes. Caliu means “warmth” in Catalan language and refers to the human need of well-being and a greater connection with interior spaces. A dense base cloth and soft surface texture allow for an aged effect that is Caliu’s prominent feature. Earthy hues with natural undertones accompany bold tones in a subtle interplay of pattern and colour.
