Road to Zero. A Journey Towards Lower Environmental Impact
For more than 30 years, we have integrated responsible manufacturing and material selection practices to reduce the environmental impact of our fabrics. Road to Zero represents our long-term commitment to a lower-impact future, focused on reducing waste, water consumption, and CO₂ emissions through collaboration across our entire ecosystem.
Using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data, we annually measure the water and carbon footprint of every fabric we produce. This insight guides our decisions from the earliest stages of design, helping us create durable upholstery fabrics with extended lifespans through advanced double-weave construction and the incorporation of recycled materials.
Our commitment extends throughout the production process, with zero-waste manufacturing practices and a preference for local suppliers that help reduce transport-related emissions and support a more sustainable supply chain.
As textile manufacturers, sustainability is not an initiative—it is part of who we are.
Zero Waste
We transform textile waste into new resources through a circular manufacturing approach. Since 2023, every Crevin fabric has incorporated a recycled backing fabric developed from our own production waste and recycled polyester.
Our commitment goes beyond manufacturing. By giving a second life to surplus stock and fabric offcuts through collaborations with local artisans and NGOs, we help reduce waste while supporting our local community and circular economy initiatives.
Key figures
• 100% of fabrics incorporate recycled backing fabric
• At least 15% recycled content in every fabric collection
• More than 70,000 kg of waste avoided each year
• More than 20,000 metres of recycled backing fabric produced
Zero Water
Water is one of the textile industry's most valuable resources. To reduce our environmental impact, we installed an advanced ultrafiltration system in 2022 that enables us to recover and reuse water from dyeing and finishing processes, significantly lowering our freshwater consumption.
The system also removes microplastics from wastewater before discharge, helping to protect aquatic ecosystems and promote more sustainable textile production.
Key figures
• 70% of wastewater recovered and reused
• More than 100,000 litres of freshwater saved per day
• Microplastics filtered and removed from wastewater
Zero CO₂
Since September 2022, all Crevin facilities have been powered exclusively by renewable electricity, sourced primarily from wind energy. This transition has enabled us to significantly reduce our direct carbon footprint while accelerating our commitment to a more sustainable and responsible manufacturing model.
By integrating renewable energy into our operations, we continue to reduce emissions and move closer to our long-term environmental goals.
Key figures
• More than 27,200 kg of CO₂ emissions avoided every year
Certified Commitment to Sustainability
Our commitment to responsible textile manufacturing is supported by internationally recognised certifications awarded by accredited organisations, including OEKO-TEX®, AENOR, EU Ecolabel, and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
These certifications provide independent verification of our environmental, social, and product standards, giving customers confidence in the sustainability and quality of our fabrics.

Our Commitment to Sustainable Textiles, Measured in Numbers
We create premium upholstery fabrics with lasting value—designed to endure, inspire, and maintain their beauty over time. By combining innovation, textile expertise, and a deep respect for the planet, we are helping shape a more sustainable future for the textile industry.
Putting People First, Always
We believe that design goes beyond fabrics. It has the power to bring people together, create opportunities, and drive meaningful change.
As part of our commitment to a more sustainable textile industry, we support social programmes, local collaborations, and inclusion initiatives that place people at the centre of every action, every partnership, and every decision.
Made in Terrassa. Textile Heritage Meets Innovation
Terrassa has been at the heart of the textile industry for centuries. Inspired by this legacy, we continue to design, weave, and finish every fabric locally, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern textile innovation.
Our integrated manufacturing process allows us to create sustainable upholstery fabrics with complete control over quality and performance, while reducing transport-related emissions and supporting a more responsible local supply chain.
This is how we bring together heritage, precision, and sustainability in every fabric we create.
